Gingerbread Bliss Balls

I like to think I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but lets be real here, that's not exactly true. Especially since honing my skill creating raw/plant-based treats in the last few years, I've definitely had my fair share of goodies.

Anyway, if you love treats like me, and aren't down for a chemical/sugar overload that's often found within your standard cafe cookie, then please enjoy this recipe.

• 1 cup sunflower seeds

• 1 cup almonds

• 1 cup shredded coconut • 2 cups dates

• 1 tbsp ginger powder

• 1 tbsp coconut oil

• 2 tsp cinnamon

• 1 tsp vanilla

• pinch nutmeg

• pinch sea salt

Blend sunflower seeds, almonds and coconut together in a food processor. Add the ginger, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, salt and coconut oil. Gradually add the dates and then roll into balls. Coat with shredded coconut or leave plain and freeze.
